Ground Beef
Does anyone have a good recipe for ground beef jerky?
I’ve been making delicious ground beef jerky but the store where I bought the spices have quit carrying them. I e-mailed the company but never got an answer. I need to know if it is possible to add some spices from the local grocery store to make tasty ground beef jerky. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Barb.
I have used my own mixture after my seasoning packet was no longer available either. got this from Allrecipes.com
1 pound lean grnd beef
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
mix with meat and seal tightly.. Refrigerate 12 to 24 hours then form and dry as usual. I personally like a touch of liquid smoke as well.
